SIDECARS FOR WHEELCHAIRS

As you will have seen from our main gallery pages, there are quite a number of disabled riders who use the Kliktronic system in order to get back in the saddle. Some who able ride solo machines, others prefer trikes - for those with wheel chairs one of the most practical solutions is an outfit modified to accomodate the chair and allow easy access.

Featured below is the Unit Sidecars chair which as you can see has a very straightforward sytem for wheelchair access. This is based on theHedingham chair which is extremely light and compact, the outfit has extremely good performance and handling. Unlike many sidecars the body is suspended on a special suspension unit within a tubular frame. This is both weight and spacesaving, the overall effect being much more pleasant to handle than many other such setups.
